20th and 21st April saw the start of the Time Attack Championship events held at Trac Mon Anglesey Circuit

Rounds 1 & 2 Time Attack Championship

Time Attack cars and sunshine. What more could you ask for. We were welcomed to the first two rounds of the 2024 Time Attack Championship by the sunshine. What followed was spectacular. Lap records, personal bests and some epic racing (even though Time Attack is not racing). Tegiwa Imports Honda NSX 'Tsuki' was again a fan favourite, a unicorn car in a sea of Mitsubishi Evo's. Luke Sedzikowski really putting a show on. Just too many classes to comment on all the podiums. Although a special shoutout to Laura Tebbs in her first season of competition driving, and she chose Time Attack as her first. Pushing her little K20 powered Clio to the max was fantastic to watch. Also, Dan Buckingham with his Honda Civic Type R running our Stage 2 Clutch and Flywheel, round one saw a first place and lap record for Dan.

Rounds 1 & 2 MSUK Drift Pro Championship

The wait was finally over as we got ready for the start of the MSUK Drift Pro Championship at Anglesey Circuit. A beautiful start to the morning for Round 1 on Saturday, the sun was shining and the track was dry. All 16 drivers quickly got to grips with the tough layout, practice showed this was going to be one for the ages. Qualifying finished with LWI Edwards topping the leader board in his E36 BWM, EXEDY favourite Ian 'Bizz Drift' Phillips managed a superb 4th place in his Nissan 350z. Round 1 finished with Dave Bastin finishing in 1st place in his Toyota AE86, an epic drive from start to finish.

Round 2 on Sunday saw another stunning day with the sun still shining and all drivers ready to go. The drivers, already feeling confident from round 1, started with some very fast runs. LWI Edwards topped qualifying again and converted this into his first number 1 podium for the season. The driving across both days was outstanding, every driver getting a great reaction from the crowd. We can't wait for round 3 at Cadwell Park on the 6th May.

Rounds 1, 2, 3 &4 Racing Honda Championship

We don't know where to even begin with this one. To say the racing from round 1 to 4 was epic would be a massive understatement. Tegiwa Imports held a dyno day for all 34 competitors to decide which class they would race in based on power to weight ratio. All 34 drivers were like BTCC drivers from the nineties to the noughties, LUNATICS!!!!!! Clean start in every race and bumper to bumper for the most. Spectacular overtakes, spectacular late breaking and a couple of drivers who decided they wanted to plough the fields halfway round. This was exhilarating racing. We cannot wait for round 5 & 6 at Cadwell park.

Driver and Car of the day

  • Day 1 - Luke  Harvey Kpowered Civic Racing Honda Championship Class A
  • Day 2 - Laura Tebbs K20 powered Renault Clio Time Attack Pocket Rocket Class
